Our Bathroom Design Plans

classic bathroom design plans

While there’s no question that our rented condo has served us well (and our landlords have been incredible through and through), I’ve longed for the opportunity to re-tile my bathroom, or update my backsplash on a whim. It has long been a dream of mine to own a home and truly make it our own. Needless to say, I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am that it’s now a real-life possibility.

When we first walked through our home, I fell in love with the bones, but knew that our washroom needed to go. Being the one and only bathroom (at least, for now), logistically, we figured we should tackle it before we officially move in. I jokingly coined the original space fifty shades of brown, as it was clad from top to bottom in the most hideous of tiles. I’m happy to announce that said monstrosities are officially destroyed, and the new ones are going in as we speak.

I’ll be sure to share the full before and afters once it’s complete, but I thought it’d be fun to take a quick gander at our plans. From the vintage cast iron tub (that we scored for a steal on kijiji), to an elegant vanity painted out the most beautiful shade of slate blue, to the marble tiles that literally make me weep with delight, the whole thing has me feeling all kinds of excited.
