Hello lovelies! I’m Victoria from Oh So Pretty, and I’m so excited to be here while Jacquelyn is traveling and exploring! For those of you who know me, I’m all about quick and simple DIY’s. So here I am with just that – you can make this lovely faux leather bound journal in just a few easy steps.
Faux leather (1/2 a yard is plenty)
Suede lace cord (1 – 1 1/2 yard)
Paper (standard letter / card stock)
Needle and Thread
1. Fold the paper in half and use that to measure how much leather you’ll need. Remember to leave a little excess material in the back so it can overlap the front
2. Sew the pages to the leather, tying knots at the beginning and the end of the thread – be careful not to poke yourself with the needle!
3. Cut two slits in the excess material (overlap) and string the suede lace cord through
