inspiration: flower power

When it comes to interior design, I generally subscribe to the notion of using neutral elements for your fixed pieces (tiles, countertops and the like), and bring in colour through accessories that can be easily switched out to suit your mood. That is, until I spotted these beauties. Sometimes you just need to toss out all of your rules and paste your walls in bright pink flowers.

  1. I’d feel like I’m in a fairy tale taking a shower on that number 2 one, beautiful.

For the most part I agree with your neutrals-in-the-fixed-elements mindset, but how amazing is that first photo? I’d never get out of that tub…

That tile wall is incredible! And that last wall paper is so vibrant and lovely–I’m getting more and more into the idea of wallpaper as a way to freshen up a room. I really want to get my hands on a great pattern! Any good sites?

perfection! The first tiled floral one is to die for. And that tub! Makes me want to move on to something more permanent, instead of renting.

Oh I totally know. I’m in the same boat. It’s taking all of my might not to rip out our countertops on my own dime. I so want my own space to do with what I see fit!
