house envy: black & white

source via

Is it any shock that this Swedish home has made its way onto my radar? The combination of raw materials paired with unexpected bits (like those Moroccan inspired tiled floors, the golden washroom fixtures and the custom kitchen pendant) is a look I won’t soon tire of. And would you have ever guessed that the kitchen is (more or less) from Ikea? It just goes to show that champagne taste can be achieved on a bud light budget.

This house made me melt. I’m a sucker for black and white. The bathroom is perfect- the tiles, the shower head and the simple, yet stylish combination of materials…LOVE this one. :)

I’m loving the lights in the top photo. We have a ton of pipes on the ceiling of our loft, so it’s got my wheels turning! The child’s room and the tiles are also amazing!

Love that chair setup! The single white patio chair is so dissonant and harmonious at the same time, like early Placebo. Thanks for sharing!

  10. Honestly, I wouldn’t have picked that to be an IKEA kitchen. Love it. Also, those chairs are all delicious. :)
