While there’s something appealing about a brand new home filled to the brim with sparkling new goodies every which way you turn, every once in a while I stumble upon a home that is precisely the opposite and it completely reinvigorates my love for all things historical. And this home, designed by the incredibly talented Lisa Tharp, is the perfect example. Updated in all of the right places, the integrity of this home was perfectly maintained, while ensuring it’s suitable for a modern day family. Old and new have been meticulously married, and the results are a space that’s filled with beauty, charm, and soul in the very best way.

It’s a beautiful home! I love the architectural details of the home but with updated furniture. And…neutrals, which I love in a home, keeping it quiet. Can I move I ? 😉
This one had me at that first picture. And the second. Simply beautiful.
Love the painted floor! xoxo
Appealing information! Sounds Good.
So beautiful! Where are the couches from?
The floor, the staircase, the ceiling medallion … I’m dying.
