house envy: a swedish sanctuary.

found here

While doing some research for an upcoming project, I found that my internet travels led me astray (I’m a compulsive link clicker and often have as many as 30 tabs open at once. It’s a bit of a problem). I didn’t find what I was originally intending, but fortunately it wasn’t all a waste for I stumbled upon this dreamy space. The herringbone floors, the intricate ceiling, the perfectly chic, brightly lit kitchen… feast your eyes on these goodies as they are aplently.

ps. as an aside, the lovely Victoria interviewed me for her blog yesterday. Take a look

I can’t deny that I’m regularly attracted to crisp white spaces with subtle pops of colour, but the attraction may be getting out of hand. I’m not sure if it’s the promise of spring sneaking up on us (although it certainly does not feel like it here in Toronto)  which often brings the urge to begin anew with a crisp, clean slate, but this modern townhouse tucked between two old Swedish homes is keeping me calm and centred on this otherwise busy Tuesday morning.
