Okay so the soup I mentioned last week? This is it. And you need to stop what you’re doing and make it right now (it’s an order). My cousin and I found the recipe and whipped it up on a whim last Saturday. At the time I had no intentions on sharing it with you guys; that is, until we took our first bite. I immediately scooped some into a container so that I could style it and photograph it the next day for you guys (I know. The life of a blogger. I judge me too). But seriously – it’s SO damn good. And I’m willing to be weird for the sake of a really awesome post.
It has officially been 8 months since my last currently coveting post, and I’m thinking it’s high time to bring this series back to light. And what better way to do so than with a board filled to the brim with the coziest of all cozy things. As you can see, I’m more than ready to hunker down for the cooler months ahead. Give me a big ol’ mug of tea, some cable knit socks, and a stack of magazines and I’ll be happy as a clam ’til spring!
I’m certain it’s unhealthy to be envious of a castle. Especially one that’s located amongst rolling hills in central France and is surely only EVER going to be a pipe dream, but I’ve been hit and I simply can’t help it. Because if there’s anything better than Victorian New York brownstone, it’s a renovated chateau (complete with a yard filled with roaming sheep). And though I’m not entirely sure I’d ever legitimately want to live here (something about the upkeep…), the little girl within will forever love the idea of a castle all to myself.
