November 29, 2013
I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and are currently in a serious turkey coma (the best kind of coma there is). I’m secretly excited Thanksgiving is over because that means I’m officially allowed to get my Christmas on! Be sure to come back next week as I’ve got about a billion (or so) amazing gift guides coming up! In the meantime, here are a few links that make me feel all warm and fuzzy (or something of the sort).

I attended an industry party last night and I have to admit I’m feeling it a little this morning. It turns out I don’t bounce back like I used to (damn you aging)! While I wrap myself in blankets and force myself to power through, allow me to distract you with a few links I’m loving this week:

October 18, 2013
I tend to have a love hate relationship with short weeks. I love that Friday sneaks up on us so quickly, but they always seem infinitely more stressful as I try to pack 5 days worth of work into 4. I’ll be sneaking away to my cottage with some of my best lady friends in just a few hours, and I seriously can’t wait. In the meantime, here are a few links I’ve loved over the last few weeks!
.So. Many. Memories
.8 food even experts won’t eat (taking notes)
.An adorable video for mom (I could eat this kid with a spoon)
.Banksy strikes again
.Abby Larson’s 5 tips to starting a business (so inspiring)

September 20, 2013
Once again, I’m not quite sure how Friday has snuck up on us already, but I’m excited nonetheless! With Blogpodium (and my first speaking engagement) underway in a mere 24 hours (cue nervous laughter), I get the feeling that this weekend is going to be a particularly good one! If you have any extra good vibes to spare, I would be very appreciative. In the meantime, here’s a list of fun things I’ve found throughout my internet travels over the last few weeks. Enjoy!

I’m not really sure how it’s Friday once again, but hey! I’m not going to complain! It’s been crazy busy lately (I have such a habit of taking on more than I can chew and then getting totally and completely burnt out) so I’m looking forward to a few low key days in town this weekend.
In the meantime, here are a few fun links I’ve been hoarding. Enjoy!

August 9, 2013
Just a quick note to let you all know that I’m checking out for a few days! I’ll be heading to Thunder Bay to spend some much needed time with my family, and I couldn’t be more excited (one week filled with sweats and NO makeup is just what the doctor ordered!) It’s been a bit of a nutty few weeks and, despite my best intentions, I just didn’t get my act together in time to set up some guest posts. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a little quiet around here next week, but I promise to be back in full force promptly!
In the meantime, here are a few fun links that can keep you some company.
:: 30 signs you’re almost 30 (sigh)

July 26, 2013
It’s slightly disconcerting how quickly these weeks are flying by. I mean, I’m not going to complain that another weekend is upon us, but it’s slowly killing me that we’re already nearing the end of July. I’m trying my best to savour each and every moment, and ignore the fact that the cold months are mere weeks away (shudder)! I’m headed up to my cottage once more in order to truly take advantage of the sun and sand, and hope that you too have relaxing plans ahead! In the meantime, here are a few random links I love:
:: I don’t yet have kids of my own, but this series makes me smile every week.
:: My girlfriends and I are constantly trying to come up with impossible “Would You Rathers”. These are pretty great.

Happy weekend my loves! XOX

I’m still reeling from excitement over that one!) and I’m thrilled that the weekend is once again showing its beautiful face. A few girlfriends and I are headed up to my cottage later tonight for some much needed r & r (woohoo!), and good things are bound to ensue.
In the meantime, here are a few links I’m currently loving:

June 14, 2013
I’ve had one of those crazy productive weeks – you know the ones that, looking back, you aren’t sure how you managed to accomplish it all? I love when that happens – especially because it means that over the weekend I’m free to do nothing of major consequence with zero guilt. Things like barbecue hop and spend the majority of Sunday in my pj’s. Does that make me sound old? It’s quite possible but so be it! There isn’t much that beats a solid day of messy hair and no makeup.
Thanks again for all your sweet comments/emails/tweets and the like re: my Amalfi Coast pictures. I’ll be back next week with even more info about each and every place we visited so stay tuned!
Have a great weekend my dears, and in the meantime, here are a few links that I’ve been hoarding and really just need a place to share:
:: My biggest nightmare
:: Wonderful advice
:: Seriously considering this
:: There’s still time to make these for dad
:: The only Tumblr I scroll through (it makes me feel calm)

:: Sad cat diary (aka my new favourite series)
:: There’s a dog one too

Simply ending the week on a pretty note – because sometimes, all you need is a little eye candy. Happy weekend you guys!
July 13, 2012
Just so you know, that is a legitimate lake in Senegal, made pink due to a chemical reaction between its high mineral content and high salt content. New mission: swim in the pink lake.
Happy weekend sunshines!
March 16, 2012
With the temperature on the rise (it’s supposed to be 21 tomorrow!!),
it’s pretty clear that my spring fever is in full bloom.
Whether it’s fresh tulips beside my bed,
drinks on a patio (that view wouldn’t hurt either),
or a leisurely bike ride on a Sunday afternoon,
I’m really looking forward to all things spring.
In the meantime, here are a few things I’m loving on this week:
a building filled with hammocks
a rainbow hotel
fifteen (fifteen!!) different mac & cheese recipes
the most beautiful line of tiles
an English town I’m just dying to visit
and some “hipster branding” (is it a problem that I love them all?)
Additionally, it’s been a busy few days for lark & linen!
I was featured on The Everygirl
Lauren had some questions about my trip to India last year
and I made it on the “up and coming” bloglovin’ list! Oh happy day!
(of which I’ve since been taken down, but still, Oh happy day!)
Have a wonderful weekend suntots <3

November 18, 2011
Remember when I mentioned I’m really good at dragging out my birthday? Well it’s true. On Tuesday I finally celebrated with my dad (he’s been more or less out of town the last month and yes, I had
cake a cookie. with candles.), and this weekend I’m heading off to New York City with my mom! She surprised me with a trip for my birthday and I could not be more thrilled! So if you have any tips (restaurants specifically) I’d love to hear em’.
And while I’m gone, here are a few great findings from around the interwebs this week:
::If you haven’t already heard, Marcel the Shell is back!
::The cutest marriage proposal
::An amazing new-to-me graphic design blog
::I’ve forbidden myself to get festive up in here until December 1st (as to not annoy any grinchy readers ;)) but I couldn’t help but share this amazing gift guide. Promise, no more Christmas talk for another two weeks. Then it’s fair game.
::Also, the new Sweet Paul magazine is out
::These will be in my near future
::I could just eat them with a spoon. Watch this one too if you have some time (and haven’t already)
Have a great weekend my little kumquats!
November 11, 2011
In other words, a space to place those need-to-share things I come across daily, but don’t quite make a blog post on their own.
Here are a few fun things I’ve stumbled across this week:
Apparently it’s quite easy to make your own butter.
::As a self proclaimed scarf wearer, through and through, (seriously, I think I own 80 of them), this video is super helpful.
::I spent far too many hours reading this blog this week. He is absolutely hilarious (and ridiculously talented).
::These pillowcases are all shades of awesome.
::This video is really lovely. I’m convinced that the key to a happy life is being happy alone. Everything (and everyone) else is just a bonus and should be treated as such.
Update: I’ve been informed that there’s an even EASIER way to make homemade butter. Go here to check it out!
November 4, 2011

Happy weekend lovelies!
