Bits & Pieces of Cocorrina

cocorrina---bits-and-pieces
One of my very favourite parts about this whole blog thing is the ease in which I’m able to connect with like-minded people from all corners of the globe. You’d think that at this point in time (hello 21st century!) this notion wouldn’t baffle me, but I find it astonishing to this day. Without this here little place I’ve carved out myself, I never would have met the sweet and incredibly talented Cocorrina. Someone I’m so proud to call my friend, and am so excited to have learnt a little more about…

Bits & Pieces of Yours Truly

Melissa---Yours-TrulyThere’s no denying that working for Style Me Pretty comes with its share of perks. High atop that list is being surrounded by incredibly talented, beyond creative women (and a handful of men as well!) Women like Melissa who make it a pleasure to “go” to work each and every day. Who’s talent is so apparent it’s a wonder that Martha Stewart herself hasn’t snatched her up and taken her under her wing. One look at her blog, Yours Truly, and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

It’s now been five years since I originally stumbled upon the wonderful world of blogging.  At the time, I only followed a handful of talented ladies, most of whom still proudly remain on my reader. That number has since grown exponentially, but Kirstens blog, Simply Grove, ranks amongst this original crowd. Her posts constantly satisfy my interior design fix and she’s one of the few that inspired me to start up my own little corner of the internet world. So I bet you can imagine how giddy I am that she’s here today sharing some bits & pieces of herself…

Rachel’s blog, Heart of Light, is one of my go-to blogs for good reason. It focuses on the little details in life, depicts awesome recipes (hello basil mojito), and always manages to remain real and down to earth (which is especially refreshing when it comes to the stylized lives often found within the blog-world). Plus, as a biologist, the girl clearly has brains to top it all off. A force to be reckoned with, if you ask me! I just know you’ll adore her as much as I do: (more…)

bits and pieces of Victoria.

Before even having the opportunity to chat with Victoria, I had considered her a friend. Besides the fact that she would be the perfect companion to sit and chat with over a bottle of wine into the wee hours of the morning, she’s supremely talented (and ambitious) to boot. All qualities in which I’m instantly attracted to. Having just quit her day job to launch her own lifestyle services company, Vivaleur, I have no doubt that she’ll become a power-house of a woman (in the best possible way).
