Bits & Pieces of Damsel in Dior
I pretty much adore Jacey, from Damsel in Dior. If I’m being totally honest, I only discovered her blog within the past few months, but it has very quickly risen to the top of my morning go-to’s. Cute videos, amazing fashion and delicious recipe – she’s got em’ all covered, and in serious style. So it was especially fun to learn a little bit more about the girl behind my new favourite blog…

bits and pieces of Alexa
I’m excited to have the second half of the talented duo that is The Short and the Sweet of it here today sharing a few bits & pieces of her life with us. Alexa has been blessed with exceptional taste, an affinity for travel (a girl after my own heart) and potentially the cutest kid I’ve ever laid eyes on (I mean, did you SEE those curls?!) She’s approachable and kind and I have no doubt you’ll adore her as much as I do…

bits & pieces of Rachel

Rachel’s blog, Heart of Light, is one of my go-to blogs for good reason. It focuses on the little details in life, depicts awesome recipes (hello basil mojito), and always manages to remain real and down to earth (which is especially refreshing when it comes to the stylized lives often found within the blog-world). Plus, as a biologist, the girl clearly has brains to top it all off. A force to be reckoned with, if you ask me! I just know you’ll adore her as much as I do: (more…)

While I love design in all forms, there’s no question that Scandinavian design marks the top of my list. Catherine’s blog, Nordic Design, tops my list of favourite blogs for that reason. Chalk full of eye candy of the very best kind, you might want to ensure that you have some time to waste before visiting, as you will surely get sucked right in.

bits and pieces of Sarah
I can more or less guarantee that todays guest need not an introduction for she is well known and loved throughout the blog world. Sarah’s blog, Haute Design, is one of the very first that I ever laid eyes on and to date is one of the few that I still follow from that time in my life. Her posts are always artfully written, eloquently executed and frequently showcases images I have not yet seen anywhere else (no easy feat in the world of blogging and pinterest). It’s been so lovely getting to know a little bit more about Sarah…

bits and pieces of Erin

Today I’m thrilled to introduce to you one of my very favourite blogs: Reading my Tea Leaves. I’ve been following Erin for a long while now and her blog is one of the few that always seems to remain fresh, focused, informative and entertaining all at the same time (no easy feat!) Her eye for beauty is incredibly refreshing, her photography is stunning, often showcasing objects I would easily overlook. Her work has, without a doubt, influenced my own as she has encouraged me to look for beauty in unexpected places. Plus, anyone that can sing twinkle twinkle little star in Latin is someone I can get on board with. Without further ado, here are some bits and pieces of Erin… (more…)

bits and pieces of Jennifer.
Jennifer’s blog, Odessa May Society, is a recent favourite of mine, but it does not make it any less special. In fact, it may be safe to say that it’s a current favourite and I’ve awkwardly gone back into her archives to take in all of the goodness that I possibly can. With a knack for sweet (and creative!) diy’s, and an eye for style that spans from food to fashion to everything in between it’s definitely a blog you don’t want to miss. And here are some bits and pieces of Jennifer…

bits and pieces of Victoria.

Before even having the opportunity to chat with Victoria, I had considered her a friend. She is one of those people who exude warmth and kindness and I’m so pleased to have gotten to know her over the last little while. Besides the fact that she would be the perfect companion to sit and chat with over a bottle of wine into the wee hours of the morning, she’s supremely talented (and ambitious) to boot. All qualities in which I’m instantly attracted to. Having just quit her day job to launch her own lifestyle services company, Vivaleur, I have no doubt that she’ll become a power-house of a woman (in the best possible way). If you’ve yet to visit her blog, vmac + cheese, I highly suggest you do. And here are some bits + pieces of Victoria…

bits and pieces of Rachel.
Rachel, from Elephantine, is one blogger that I’m particularly partial to. Her posts are always eloquently written, and absolutely stunning to gawk at. Her photography skills are unparalleled by many, and her Fiction Friday series has quickly become a favourite of mine. Not only has she created what I would consider a miniature online sanctuary, but she also runs the sweetest kitchen shop and posts the most delicious recipes (many of which I have made in abundance myself). I feel confident when I say that you’ll adore her as much as I do. Without further ado, here are some bits & pieces of Rachel…

bits & pieces of Leah.
One of my favourite parts about blogging is the incredible people that you come in contact with that you may not have otherwise. Leah is no exception and I’m so thrilled to have her here today. Her blog Freutcake is equal parts pretty as it is inspiring. It’s filled to the brim with mouth-watering recipes and sweet collages all curated by none other than herself. Let me just say that she has some serious skill (seriously – just look at her recipes – I dare you not to drool) and you’d be wise to hop on over to take a peak at just what I mean.
And here are some bits & pieces of Leah:

I suspect that Christine from Bijou & Boheme need not an introduction, but if you have yet to peruse the eye candy that is her blog, you’ve pretty much been missing the boat. Being one of my very first “blog friends”, Christine naturally holds a special place in my heart. Her kindness and talent is unsurpassed by most and her blog is constantly bubbling over with inspiration in the prettiest forms. From gold leafed furniture, to tufted ottomans to pink anything (and everything) en masse, it’s well worth a read. With that said, here are some bits and pieces of Christine:

bits & pieces of courtney.

I’m constantly amazed at the things that Courtney blogs about. I’m convinced that she has some secret magical powers that enables her to find the most wonderful things that have never been seen or heard of before (if you blog, you’ll understand how difficult this task may be). From art to interior design to fashion she covers all the bases. And while chatting with her (maybe I like to think of her as my virtual bff) she exudes a warmth and spirit unparalleled by many. Definitely check out her blog dainty & floral as it’s one of my very favourites.

Jennifer’s blog, Luster, has been a long-time favourite of mine and I’m so pleased to introduce you to her today. As a (ridiculously talented, I might add) textile designer (dream job much?) and equally amazing blogger, I’ve long admired her work. She has a beautiful aesthetic and I have no doubt that you’ll agree. From her incredible collages to stunning travel photography and documentation (a series entitled wanderlust) there’s no shortage of eye candy in her corner of the internet.

bits and pieces of sarah.
I’m so excited to introduce you to one of my very favourite style bloggers out there. Sarah has impeccable taste, a talented boyfriend who knows how to work a camera, and the sweetest personality there is. Funnily enough, Sarah and I met for a brief moment in time back in the twelfth grade, but it wasn’t until we found ourselves swooning over each others blogs (almost 9 years later) that our friendship really took off. Check out her blog, girlcrush. I just know you’re going to adore her as much as I do.

For the next little while I’ll be taking some time to showcase bits and pieces of some of my very favourite bloggers; the ones that I visit daily, without question. These girls are talented beyond belief and I love the idea of sharing a bit about them with the rest of you. Without further ado, here is:

I remember the very first time I stumbled upon Annemaries blog, Brunch at Saks, as it wasn’t all that long ago. I was led there by a random link on twitter that I felt inclined to click on for whatever reason. I was immediately transported to a place of grace, of class, of pretty things beyond your imagination. Annemarie blogs about anything and everything lovely, from interiors, to fashion, to recipes and beyond. Her personality shines through with a poise and elegance that is refreshing to find these days. I’ve only been reading Ella’s blog moleskine for a few months since it’s relatively new, but it has quickly risen to the top of my list of things I read before I begin my day. She posts frequently about art installations, incredible spaces, and anything and everything jaw-dropping. Her posts are always inspiring, beautifully written, artfully put together and more often than not something that I’ve never seen before. I have no doubt in my mind that any and all of you will love it just as much as I do.

Alex and I have known each other since the third grade when I caught her prancing around the school ground in a purple leotard working on a gymnastics routine. I knew right then and there that I needed her in my life. Our lives took a turn and it wasn’t until four years later that we found ourselves in the same school once again. We quickly became friends and haven’t looked back. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alex for over three years in our field and I can safely say that she’s one of the most talented girls that I know. And in case you were wondering, she curates a wonderful blog that you don’t want to miss right here.
