Valentine’s Day 101: The DIY Bubble Bath Gift Box

DIY Bubble Bath Gift Box | Photo by Ruth Eileen Photography

In the begining of launching my design studio, I know with certainty that I semi-neglected some of my female relationships, despite my best efforts. But now that said business is in a really solid spot, I’ve made it my mission to change that right quick. Lately, I’ve been making an effort to let my favourite females know just how much they mean. Whether it’s by sending flowers during difficult times, showing up with champagne when required, or writing reminders in my planner regarding special moments in their lives, in general I’ve just been trying to be a better friend all around. And I have to say – even the smallest effort has yielded wonderful results. So I can only imagine what’d happen if I sent out these DIY bubble bath gift boxes to my nearest and dearest this Valentine’s Day. From my sisters, to my mother, to my neighbour and beyond, it’s just the sweetest little token of appreciation that I know would go far. The best part: it truly couldn’t be an easier DIY Valentine’s Day gift to put together.

Note: if you do tackle this bad boy, please share on Instagram using #LarkandLinenDIY – I’d love to take a peek at your results

Chocolate bar
Bubble bath
Bath fizz cracker
Ombre glitter bath salts

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Gather your goodies! We decided to do a candle and matches, bubble bath, bath salts, chocolate, and champagne. You can see exactly what we used in the supply list, but any luxurious bath treats will do!

2) Fill the box 90% full with krinkle fill.

3) Tuck in your bath goodies, adjusting the fill as you go. You can either have them fit completely (and tie on the top with a ribbon) or display them more like an open gift basket.
