Scenes from my Week

horse farm{Making new friends (thank you, Kaylee, for the photo)}

In the midst of what is most definitely the busiest week of the year for me (hello Christmas crunch time at work!), a few girlfriends and I snuck away for a night at the Ste. Anne’s Spa. The spa had set us up with an entire house, complete our own private chef and hot tub… the absolute works, which was such a wonderful surprise. We were absolutely spoiled beyond belief, and it was glorious as glorious can be. While the timing originally wasn’t ideal, it was a trip that had been planned for months and I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t make it happen. While I was feeling anxious about being able to take the time off, once I was there I swear everything literally melted away. It’s absolute heaven, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I came back to work the next day feeling instantly revitalized, and swear I’ve been more productive ever since. Lesson learned: often when you feel like the world is caving in on you, taking a step back can quickly help hit the reset button. Here’s a quick peek at my week, in photos.

    What a fantastic hot tub! Forget about having one in your bathroom. One under the stars is fabulous. I’m happy you took time for yourself. If you could have taken that cute pup of yours, then it would have been perfect. All of your photos of Sage brightens my day. That pups need an Instagaram account.
