There’s just something about the warmth that summer brings that begs for long and leisurely meals with your favourite girlfriends in hand. With the weather on a steady increase, and the fleeting summer months on the horizon, my sweet friend Gaby and I wanted to take the opportunity to bring together a few of our most inspiring lady-friends to indulge in a boho inspired summer soirée…
We all headed up to my cottage bright and early one morning to fully take advantage of the warm lakeside breezes, and feel the sand between our toes for as long as physically possible. We nibbled on a summer-inspired citrus salad, rosemary flatbread, caprese skewers, and a bountiful, overflowing, cheese and charcuterie plate. The day was absolutely magical in its own wonderful way, and I’m simply dying to recreate it again and again.
Our darling Heidi Lau joined us, and sweetly captured it all, and I beg of you to take a long and meandering look through each and every photo, as this very well may be one of our proudest events to date. If I have it my way, this was just the first of what I hope to be a yearly tradition. Because as it turns out, when you pair a handful of powerful, ambitious, and inspiring women with flower crowns, delicious eats, and tropical cocktails to sip on, magical things ensue. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as Gaby and I share more party details, including all of our DIYS, recipes, hair tutorials and the like.
Thanks to Palm Bay for sponsoring this post, giving us an excuse to spend some valued time with our girlfriends and helping set the scene for our best-yet summer soiree. Remember to always drink responsibly.
