Scenes from my Week

Coffee table styling

{a moment of silence for this marble table}

This week I wrapped up a really wonderful project, and while I’m secretly sad that this one’s over, I’m surprisingly pumped over how it all came together. I didn’t really blog about it, admittedly because I wasn’t entirely sure if it would feel on brand (which is an essential component to a budding business), but now that it’s finished I’m kind of bummed that I didn’t… My client moved into her forever home over the summer and hired me to help her with her living room, dining room, family room and master bedroom. Amazing news for a small business! Much to my original dismay, she was insistent on keeping her moss green walls and existing army green sofas. If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you may have noticed that green isn’t exactly my favourite. And here I was, faced with green on green on green to work around. Design challenge accepted? I finished pulling it all together on Wednesday, my sweet client is pumped, and I’m surprised at how much I love it myself. The finished spaces feel warm and cozy, with just the slightest hint of glam – exactly the way I like it. Here’s a small peek at said project, and a few moments from the rest of my week, below.

ps – there are a few more shots of this particular project on Instagram under #LLprojectCedarvale if you’re interested!

pps – I’ve been having a lot of fun on Snapchat lately with a lot of behind the scenes peeks, and more candid moments. If you feel like following along my user name is larkandlinen
