I’ve recently started designing a new client’s place, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come. Their favourite colours: lavender, light pink and pale blue. So naturally, I’ve found myself pulling inspiration from pretty pastel spaces on the regular. And although this palette is beautiful in it’s own right, it’s a notoriously difficult scheme to work with as it can feel child-like really quickly if not handled with care. The trick: use the hue in small doses, and anchor it all with tons of neutral elements. The following are a few spaces I love, which showcase just how beautiful decorating with pastels really can be.
Yellow Couch: Emily Henderson | Mint Couch: A Lovely Lark | Pastel Dipped Chairs: Birch + Bird | Lavender Foyer: Domino | Light Blue Room: Lay Baby Lay | Blush Living Room: Christine Dovey | Yellow and Grey Dining Room: Style Me Pretty
