Boozy Fruit Punch (with Striped Ice Cubes)

boozy-fruit-punch

Though I’m no stranger to a fancy cocktail here and there, my drink of choice is usually quite simple: vodka soda with a splash of cranberry. It’s light and refreshing, while remaining low(ish) in calories. But then I discovered fruity striped ice cubes – and just like that my Friday night bevvy just got significantly more fun! In addition, these guys are an awesome way to spice up a glass of water (sparkling, if you’re feeling fancy) and, from experience, seriously impress guests.

Ingredients
  1. Three kinds of juice (I used strawberry, grape and mango)
  2. An ice cube tray
  3. Club soda
  4. 1.5 oz. gin (or vodka) per cocktail
  5. Strawberries, as garnish
Instructions
  1. FOR THE STRIPED FRUIT PUNCH CUBES
  2. Start by filling each cube of your ice cube tray 1/3rd full with your first juice, then freeze until solid.
  3. Repeat with remaining juice, making sure to freeze each one completely before adding the next.
  4. TO ASSEMBLE
  5. Fill each glass with your striped, fruity ice cubes
  6. Add clear liquor of choice (I suggest vodka or gin)
  7. Top with club soda and a strawberry, to garnish!
Notes
  1. As the striped cubes melt, your beverage will get better and better.
