You guys are never going to believe it (I almost can’t myself) but that dresser we picked up off of craigslist? I FINALLY took the time to stain it. It only took a year to get my act together (pathetic) but I’m still ridiculously proud none the less. With Justin out at a golf tournament, I basically spent all of saturday knee deep in sawdust & stain. It was not a pretty sight, I won’t lie. Eight hours later, dyed limbs of all kinds and only two (maybe three) slivers and we’re left with a piece that’s ALMOST finished (I still need to add sealant, but we’re oh so close).
And because I’m nothing if not one who craves balance (I’m a Libra, after all), I made sure to treat myself the rest of the weekend. With a date night with that man I like, a rooftop pool day with my best friend, taking advantage of summerlicious, and over-stuffing ourselves at the T&T Night Market, it’s safe to say that this weekend was thoroughly enjoyed.
