There’s no denying that working for Style Me Pretty comes with its share of perks. High atop that list is being surrounded by incredibly talented, beyond creative women (and a handful of men as well!) Women like Melissa who make it a pleasure to “go” to work each and every day. Who’s talent is so apparent it’s a wonder that Martha Stewart herself hasn’t snatched her up and taken her under her wing. One look at her blog, Yours Truly, and you’ll know exactly what I mean.

My Pandora is usually on reggae, rock or something upbeat… Marley, RHCP, Foo Fighters, The Black Crowes, AC/DC, Metallica. This doesn’t mean I don’t get my dance on with Bruno Mars or JT, believe me I do.

A fun tropical wooden lamp from Home Goods, iPhone, book, water and a notebook to jot down ideas. My best ideas come to me at night!

::One thing you wish to accomplish in your lifetime::
First off, to be a great Mama someday. Career-wise… I’m so happy right now working for SMP. I’m learning so, so much and it’s exactly where I want to be. I love having my own little corner of blog-land with Yours Truly and I hope to continue building on that. Most of all, to be happy, always live in the moment and appreciate every new opportunity in front of me.
::Your dream home::
New England has always been my home and at the moment, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. My dream home is a Contemporary coastal beach house with elements of the Spanish Colonial style mixed in. I love the distinct look of white stucco, detailed tiling and beautiful archways against a coastal backdrop. Most importantly, an open layout, nice big backyard (with a bar for entertaining!) and a quick walk to the beach…
::Your happy place::
At the beach with our pup. There’s nothing better than digging my toes in the sand and watching a happy dog leap through the water, completely carefree. It reminds me to let go of everything and be in the moment.
