It’s funny, the older I get, the more I realize that my parents are legitimately cool (don’t tell my fourteen year old self). These days, I find myself craving family time more than ever before. There’s just something about surrounding yourself with a group of people who have to adore you in every shape and form that leaves one feeling more than fulfilled.
Seeing as this weekend was deemed the family day long weekend, I decided to fully capitalize. Between family spa days, slumber parties and board games at my aunts adorable country cottage, embarrassingly long naps, and gorgeous wintry family hikes, we definitely took advantage of each and every day. It turns out that this season isn’t so bad after-all.
ah yeah, I’m the same way. I actually talk to my parents on the phone daily. Love family time. I think going off to college then heading straight to work post-graduation so far away from home made me realize how special they are to me. Such a sweet weekend :)
It’s true! I live close to both my mom and my dad, but it took moving out to realize how much I really do like them! haha

I went to the Scandinave Spa in Mont Tremblant when I was home! I love the look of the Collingwood one. Isn’t it just so great?
