Dessert Recipes Tasty Treats

Wine Soaked Cherry Eton Mess

DSC_0075For the past few years, I’ve been put in charge of our Christmas Eve dessert. It’s a task that I’ve completely and wholeheartedly embraced in the past, and this year was no exception. While brainstorming ideas that I felt would please the masses, I came across this recipe for wine-soaked cherry eton mess. Intrigued by the meringue snowflake topper and individually portioned jars, I felt like it’d be a fun addition to our Christmas Eve meal. It turns out I was right – an instant hit ensued! Though it was slightly more labour intensive than your typical treat, I would still gladly recommend it for any and all future events you may come across.

That looks yum, and I’m also intrigued by the meringue snowflakes! Love love love your photos (but then, I always do), and I love the styling in the little one-serve jars! Perhaps the next dinner party I will volunteer to bring dessert :)
