Truth be told, I was a little nervous to present a home in this series today. It’s officially been over a month since the last one and I felt as if I had to find something outstanding to break the fast. That’s a lot of pressure you know!
Lucky for me I stumbled upon this beauty just the other day. With all of the over-stylized spaces you find throughout blogland, it’s sometimes refreshing to find one that people legitimately spend time in. Laughter is heard, dinners are cooked, books are read… Though I’m not oblivious to the fact that even that perfectly messy bed has been somewhat stylized for this shoot, it still allows me to envision a real life within these walls. Life, love & things of beauty. For that, I am smitten.

Hi jacquelyn!
May you perhaps start bloogging about decor tips and tricks? Im about to move into to a new place and would love to make it superb…
Hi Zimasa! I’ve actually been brainstorming a few things along that line lately. I think it’s a great idea!
This home is just lovely, a favourite of mine. Holly from Decor8 did a really interesting post on it last month: http://decor8blog.com/2012/09/11/now-then-home-of-stylist-emma-persson-lagerberg/ I can’t decide whether I like the before or after better :)
no way! Thanks for the link! Oh man – I can’t tell either. Is it ok to like both – equally?
Could you imagine having a library like that? I like to think I’d never be bored!

ugh it’s my dream! One day.
If I could some how get that full-wall bookcase in my home, I’d be one happy lady.

Looks very inviting, love it!
What a stunning house, in all it’s simplicity! Love the brass hardware in the kitchen, the chalkboard wall and the kitchen chairs above all ;)
I’m not sure I’ll ever be sick of a good ol’ chalkboard wall
Wow. I will forever be disappointed if my house does not look like this! haha
