our view while biking to The Ex | date night | brunch with friends
Saturday at the St. Lawrence Market | market goodies
If you can’t tell from the pictures above, a pretty wonderful weekend was had around these here parts. Instead of dwelling over the fact that the season is coming to an end, I’ve decided to embrace what’s left and really soak it all in. Between a surprisingly romantic date night at The Ex (including gondola rides and gourmet food truck dinners), multiple al fresco brunches, catching up with some girlfriends, and a handful of hours spent relaxing on the couch with my feet propped up, I’d say I made the most of it. How was yours? I’d love to know!

That sounds so much better than what I had going on. Last minute packing {I realized I neglected to pack any suits/business formal] for graduate school. And just had the final BBQ with my family. Bittersweet :(
ah you are off on an adventure of a lifetime! You’ll be back :) This is exciting stuff here lady!
My weekend was good, but I don’t think it was as good as yours! Gorgeous photos and I love your market finds!
Thanks Tiffany!
we had plans to go to the CNE as well but then my son got sick and so did my husband so we spent most of our time sleeping, eating and going for walks around Trinity Bellwoods or the Beaches. This weekend though…its on!
Oh no!! I’m sorry to hear that. Being sick in the summer should be illegal. Luckily you have three whole days off coming up to take advantage of
I LOVE that photo from the Ex! Perfectly captures the feeling of summer and youth :) Also quite jealous of the oysters!
Thanks Eleanor! I know, the Ex will forever remind me of my childhood
You consistently take the MOST gorgeous pictures ever! You weekend looks blissful–as does that french toast. Wow!

Thanks Ronnie!
Gorgeous photos! I’m trying not to get too down about the change of seasons, either. There’s a lot to love about fall, even though I’ll miss summer. A lot.
I totally agree. I think I’m starting to get excited about fall. It might be the new boots I just purchased haha
