There’s just something about long weekends that beg for long, leisurely breakfasts (that generally begin just after noon). On Monday morning, Justin and I awoke with absolutely zero plans. We putted around the house in our pyjamas before whipping up these bad boys to fill our bellies. While scones are not typically the first thing I gravitate to (something about their dry crumbliness isn’t generally my schtick), this recipe is definitely one I’d use again and again. The results are dense (yet surprisingly moist), quite easy to prepare, and made for the ultimate breakfast treat.
