condo life: the bedroom.

frames | bedding | dresser | chair | light | pillow | fabric

I’ve mentioned before (probably too many times) that our bedroom has remained entirely undecorated since we moved in just over a year ago. The reasons: time (or lack thereof) and money (or lack thereof, once more!) Being in the interior design field, our empty bedroom has irked me to no end (admittedly, a lot more than it probably should). I’ve meant to finish it up so that I can photograph our condo in its entirety and finally share our cosy abode with the rest of you but I’ve put it off to no end. Enough is enough! It’s time to tackle our naked bedroom! Here is a quick run-down of what we intend on doing to tie our existing furniture together all the while incorporating a few new pieces without spending very much at all. We made some headway last weekend and I intend on keeping you all posted along the way.

I’ve had the same Ikea one for years! I don’t want to invest in a new one until I own my own place (right now we’re renting) because I won’t know exactly how much space I’ll have until then. So for now, I must make do!

And just for the record, I didn’t know ur bedroom was un-decorated…the times I’ve seen it, I thought it looked awesome. From what I’ve seen, I can only imagine how great it’s going to be “decorated” :)

      Thanks Sarah!

I’ve recently started doing this for every project I tackle. It definitely helps align your vision! I love so many different styles and if I don’t figure out EXACTLY what direction I’m going in it ends up all over the place!
