bits and pieces of Oddesa May Society

Jennifer’s blog, Odessa May Society, is a recent favourite of mine, but it does not make it any less special. In fact, it may be safe to say that it’s a current favourite and I’ve awkwardly gone back into her archives to take in all of the goodness that I possibly can. With a knack for sweet (and creative!) diy’s, and an eye for style that spans from food to fashion to everything in between it’s definitely a blog you don’t want to miss. And here are some bits and pieces of Jennifer…

::A random fact::
I can’t keep happy secrets for the life of me. When I or someone I love has happy news, I want to shout it to the rooftops. I just can’t help myself, I get so excited. So silly, I know.

::Your go-to recipe::
After seeing these Hazelnut Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies on Bliss, I’ve made them several times. Totally satisfies our sweet tooth.

::You can’t live without::
My phone. It has everything I’m crazy about: Bloglovin’ app, Pinterest app, Instagram, and iTunes. (No.1)

::Currently coveting::
These Raw Sapphire Studs are just too damn gorgeous. (No.2)

::Your daily reads::
So many! I subscribe to well over 100 blogs in bloglovin’. A few faves include PennyweightDaniella MarieI Art UUnstitched  and The Makers.  (No.3)

::On your playlist::
Florence and the Machine, The Black Keys, Bon Iver, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.

::Your favourite quote::
” A woman who is convinced that she deserves to accept only the best challenges herself to give the best. Then she is living phenomenally.”  -Maya Angelou

::On your night stand::
My iPad, Rifle notebook, and a stack of current magazines. (No.4)

::Your favourite designer::
I’m pretty simple when it comes to my clothing. Pretty much in love with everything from Madewell and  J. Crew.

::In your wishing well::
I would love to have my own on-line magazine someday…kind of out there, but I think it would be a blast.

::Your dream home::
Bright, lots of windows, wood floors, tucked in the countryside. Oh, and filled with antiques and modern pieces alike.

::Your happy place::
By the fire on our back patio in the summer. The stars are crazy bright, the air is perfectly warm and the company is always worthwhile. =) (No.5)
