I won’t lie, I debated about whether or not I would even post today as this weekend was truly the opposite of earth shattering. In light of staying authentic and sharing both the exciting and the not so exciting, I figured why not. With the weather quickly turning on us (read: absolutely freezing), our first snowfall last Thursday and virtually no plans in sight, everything was in place for us to spend the weekend in hibernation mode. Apart from a quick trip out for groceries (sustenance) and brunch (more sustenance), the majority of our weekend was spent snuggling on the couch, hot chocolate in hand, hair unkempt in the very best way. We watched more movies than I can count, our kitchen cupboards have never been more organized and I have never felt more rested. It’s very possible that this was one of the better weekends we’ve had in a while.
