retail therapy: cup & cake.

found here

You may have noticed a picture of the sweetest little cupcake shop that I had posted earlier this week (here). Located just around the corner from our hotel in Barcelona was this absolutely darling space. Appropriately named cup & cake, they served up just that alongside loose leaf teas, warm pastries and soft bread (that you could toast yourself at your table). Had Justin not pulled me away from pressing my face up against that very window (multiple times), I happily would have spent the entirety of our trip within the confines of those walls.

That looks like the best shop! I love your photo’s, they always seem bright and airy but not over-exposed. Do you edit them? It’s peculiar because I’d always darken a photo rather than lighten it given a choice, but I always think you take beautiful photos!

      Thank you very much Stacey!

These ones in particular are not my own photos, but I do edit mine using photoshop. I definitely do lighten them as oppose to darkening them! I always gravitate to light and bright photos, it seems

Hi. I just found your blog through a link from The Short and the Sweet of it. I have a few things I wanted to comment on. Your pictures from Barcelona are ah-mazing!! Looks like a fantastic time. I also noticed that you had a picture of a board game, and we play that one all the time with my family. So much fun!! Lastly, your raspberry and pistachio cake looks delish. I’m going to have to make that!! I love chambord too, so that was a good call. Happy Friday!!
