Dessert Recipes Tasty Treats

Florentines

With december in full swing (it is the 2nd, after all)  and Christmas right around the corner, its high time to start that Christmas baking. Feeling festive, I recently whipped up a batch of Florentines which were quickly devoured by my boyfriend (who claims he doesn’t have a sweet tooth). With the combination of brittle almond and bittersweet chocolate, these lacy cookies are as pretty as they are tasty. Head on over to the Style at Home cookie swap where I’ve submitted this recipe for a chance to win a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer (and there’s still time for you to do the same)!

ahh you lucky duck! I always flip flop between wanting the butter yellow, the teal and the pistachio. I have now added the pear one to the mix.

Thanks Jackie! They were amazing, if I do say so myself. Also: ridiculously simple. They look a lot more complicated than they are which is always a bonus in my eyes
