Lately I’ve been drawn to overtly masculine homes (as seen here). I find comfort in the dark and moody spaces that are such a dire contrast from the light and bright ones I generally design. With the temperatures quickly plummeting, I love that these rooms embody the perfect transitional space between the long, warm days of summer and the short, crisp days of fall. This one in particular draws you in and begs you to curl up with a blanket and an oversized cup of spiked apple cider. And it doesn’t hurt that any male counterparts would likely feel compelled to join you.
