World’s Best Snickerdoodles

snickerdoodles

Today I introduce to you one of my all-time favourite cookies: the snickerdoodle. I began making these cinnamon-y treats in the 8th grade, primarily because I thoroughly enjoyed their name. They quickly became my go-to cookie for birthday gifts, bake sales or any ol’ celebration and my friends were not complaining. After being hit with a fierce craving for them just last night, I knew that I had to whip up a batch (and I do mean whip. They’re probably the easiest cookie you’ll ever put together). The results were moist, chewy and as perfectly cinnamon-y as I remember. It had been years since I made them, but after last night, I won’t make that mistake again.
