From take-out pizza and a movie on Friday to mimosas at an alfresco brunch on Sunday, this weekend was chock full of classic combinations that sometimes just can’t be beat.
After a low key evening with Justin on Friday, the girls and I packed up our bags (yet again) and headed to Burlington to visit our girlfriend and her new home. We hiked through Websters falls, we flipped through bridal magazines while sipping on prosecco, finding inspiration for her upcoming nuptials, and we spent the evening in her backyard, feasting and laughing and simply enjoying the company. Throughout the weekend, we jokingly referred to ourselves as ladies of leisure as we hopped from one waterfront restaurant to the next; because sometimes you just have to put life, budgets and reality on hold and simply enjoy some good old-fashioned, frivolous girl time.
