Sofia from Sofia’s Journal has a challenge: to come up with One Hundred simple things that make you happy. It seems easy enough, no? I’ve decided to take this challenge and run with it! Week IX:

#81. Brunch on Christmas day. After the chaos has calmed down a bit, we sit down for a delicious, over the top, unecessarily ladden with calories type of brunch. Homefries are cooked in duck fat, and mimosas are always involved.

#82. Love letters.

#83. Confetti! Because, hello, it’s awesome! My aunt puts confetti in every letter or card she sends and it always makes me smile.

#84. The fact that I’m 25 and my parents still buy me an advent calender. I hope they never stop.

#85. Pretty place settings. I’m convinced they make your food taste better!

#86. A porch swing. We have one up at my cottage and it’s filled with great memories.

#87. Bike baskets! Just because they’re cute AND practical.

#88. Testing out a new drink recipe. Lavender Lemonade anyone?

#89. Movies from my childhood. Please tell me I’m not the only one who was obsessed with Hugga Bunch. To this day I have yet to find a single person who has even heard of this movie. The. Best. Movie. Ever. Ever!

#90. Tree houses! Does this need any further explanation? I didn’t think so.
