Sofia from Sofia’s Journal has a challenge: to come up with One Hundred simple things that make you happy. It seems easy enough, no? I’ve decided to take this challenge and run with it! Every friday for the next few weeks I will present to you a new compilation of ten things that make me happy. To see the rest of the series click here: one hundred things
#81. Brunch on Christmas day. After the chaos has calmed down a bit, we sit down for a delicious, over the top, unecessarily ladden with calories type of brunch. Homefries are cooked in duck fat, and mimosas are always involved.
#82. Love letters.
#83. Confetti! Because, hello, it’s awesome! My aunt puts confetti in every letter or card she sends and it always makes me smile.
#84. The fact that I’m 25 and my parents still buy me an advent calender. I hope they never stop.
#85. Pretty place settings. I’m convinced they make your food taste better!
#86. A porch swing. We have one up at my cottage and it’s filled with great memories.
#87. Bike baskets! Just because they’re cute AND practical.
#88. Testing out a new drink recipe. Lavender Lemonade anyone?
#89. Movies from my childhood. Please tell me I’m not the only one who was obsessed with Hugga Bunch. To this day I have yet to find a single person who has even heard of this movie. The. Best. Movie. Ever. Ever!
#90. Tree houses! Does this need any further explanation? I didn’t think so.
