scenes from my weekend.

Friday evening my boyfriend and I escaped our busy lives and spent a much-needed evening just us two. We sat across from each other on a tiny patio, ordered entirely too much wine, and talked for hours. I’ve been blessed with a boy who I can easily call my best friend. It seems as of late we’ve been so pre-occupied with other life plans that our alone time has been put on the back burner. It was nice to be with just him. Just us. For the entire evening.

Saturday we headed over to my aunt’s place for a small backyard wedding ceremony. The rain was not our friend, but it held off just long enough for them to say their vows. It was a beautiful ceremony with only family and close friends. The rain didn’t damper anyones spirits as we continued the celebration water-logged under umbrellas.

We woke up late on sunday morning in a champagne induced haze, and took advantage of the sliver of sunlight that graced us with its presence by eating breakfast by the pool. The rest of the day was spent as it should be: cuddled under blankets, watching TV movies, and ordering take-out while listening to the thunderstorm outside.  Ahh Sundays.

With that said, I need your help. I’m still new at this blogging thing and I struggle with what you guys are interested in. This is primarily a blog about design, my findings, and the things that inspire me, but I don’t want to remain completely anonymous either. I’m not sure how interested you are in my life, or if you’re here mainly for the design aspect. Should I keep up with these Scenes from my Weekend, with little glimpses into my world or focus mostly on designy things that I find inspiring. I really need your honest opinions. I’m open to constructive criticism here, people! Please let me know, I’m torn.

I enjoy your Scenes from Sunday series as I do looking at your inspirational design photos….haha so I guess there’s really no constructive criticism here! I particularly like the rooms/homes that you choose to blog about…so nice to look at and gives me some ideas for my (future) living arrangements, whatever that will be.

PS – I just heard today that Domino will be back online?!

Good to know! I wasn’t sure. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell whether something is legitimately interesting, or only interesting to you haha. I appreciate the feedback:)

I heard that too! Word on the street is it’s going to be a bridal site though. Have I been mistaken?

      Either way – it’s exciting!

  2. Keep posting your Scenes from Sundays!!
