It’s still cold and rainy here in Toronto.  In Jacquelyn-land that means it’s absolutely freezing and I may lose my toes and slash or the tips of my fingers. I’ve been known to exaggerate a little bit okay a lot, but carrying on. I would love to cuddle up in this nook all day with a book and a cup of tea.

I thought that it was about time that I introduced you to Stella.

I can’t lie… She’s not mine. My boyfriend and I decided to adopt her a little over 2 years ago. Since we don’t live together, and I live on the 10th floor of an apartment building, we decided she would be happiest if she stayed with him at his home. Technically, since I’m pretty sure his family doesn’t read this blog, I could go on and say how she’s mine, all mine! But that wouldn’t be fair considering they do all the dirty work, and I just get to give her high fives, ask her to dance for me and get her to sneeze on command (she totally does all three, by the way). She ‘s wonderful and I love my puppy to little puppy bits! (haha)

These tiles! They just make my eyes happy. I haven’t been able to find them in an application yet but as soon as I do I will be sure to share it! They’re called the SomerTile Square Lantern in white and you can get them at Overstock.com for about $8.00 a square foot. Oh I would tile my life with these babies. And I don’t even care that they like, totally stole it right out of my header.
